Is there a bicycle parking available?

Yes, we have a covered bicycle parking facility that we also close at night. Your bikes are safe here. There are also sockets to charge your electric bikes.

Where can I rent a bike?

We have a number of standard bicycles with 7 gears and 2 electric bikes. On request we can also prepare several bikes for you. The bikes are owned by a bicycle mechanic and are also well maintained by this bicycle repairer.

What does a bike cost per day?

The standard bicycles cost € 10.00 per day and the electric bikes cost € 22.50 per day. Because the bicycle mechanic only calculates the bikes per day, we are also forced to charge you the full daily rate, even if you have only cycled for half a day.
We have a wide choice of free bicycle routes for our hotel guests!

Do you also have E-bikes?

We rent E-bikes for € 22.50 per bike per day. It is wise to book in advance, we usually only have 2 in stock. On request we can prepare several bikes for you. They are owned by a bicycle mechanic and are also well maintained by this bicycle repairer.

Can I park for free at the hotel?

Yes, parking spaces are directly opposite the hotel. Within walking distance are several parking options, everywhere is free parking.

Can I bring my dog to the hotel?

Your dog is very welcome! We charge € 9.50 per night per dog. We have 2 rooms where we allow dogs, please indicate when booking that you want to bring your dog.

Your dog is also welcome in our winter garden, where you can also have breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately, you can not bring your dog in the shared breakfast room. Of course, your dog is allowed on the terrace. There are also small forests and dog outlets in the area.

How can I make the easiest reservation?

You can use our reservation system on this website, but you can always call (+31) (0) 547 - 333000 then we are happy to help you! Prefer by email? That is also possible, We always respond to your request the same day!

Is there an elevator?

Unfortunately, we do not yet have a lift in our hotel. We do have 10 hotel rooms on the ground floor. The other 20 rooms can be reached via 1 flight of stairs to the first floor. Our restaurant and the breakfast room are on the ground floor.

Is there a restaurant at the hotel?

We have an excellent restaurant where you can dine. Our menu can be found on this website under the 'restaurant' tab. We have a Dutch / French kitchen and are known for our good quality in the area!

The dishes on our menu change every season, in the spring of course delicious asparagus from Twente and in the autumn the game dishes. You can also choose from our monthly selection menu.

I follow a diet / I have allergies, can I go to your restaurant?

We are very skilled in allergen-free cooking. For example, gluten-free, lactose-free, low-salt, low-carbohydrate or without flavor enhancer is no problem at all. Please let us know when you make your reservation.

Is there air conditioning?

The hotel has 14 air-conditioned rooms. These rooms are all on the first floor. On the ground floor there is unfortunately no air conditioning, but these rooms are generally a lot cooler because they are located on the ground floor.

Do you have a 24-hour reception?

We do not have a 24-hour reception. When the reception is closed you can contact the staff behind the bar with all your questions. You can also check in and check out there. In principle, you can check in until 23:00 h., Then the bar will close. In consultation, of course, another time is possible.

How do I get to Hengevelde by public transport?

If you travel by train, you can come to train station Goor by train and change to the bus to Haaksbergen. This passes through Hengevelde and stops about 30 meters from the hotel (at the church in Hengevelde).

If you travel by bus, you can also travel to Goor, or to Haaksbergen bus station. From Haaksbergen you get on the bus towards Goor and then you get off at Hengevelde at the church, about 30 meters away from our hotel.

Note: the bus to Hengevelde does not run on Sundays and public holidays! There is always taxi transport possible, ask for the possibilities.

Do you also have rooms for the disabled?

We have an adapted room that is also accessible for a wheelchair. The room is more spacious and the bathroom is more spacious (and wheelchair accessible) and equipped with handles. On request we can also prepare a shower chair for you. We are happy to hear your wishes during the reservation.

What time is breakfast?

Breakfast is daily from 8.00 am to 10.00 am. If desired, you can have breakfast earlier, in consultation from 6.00 am possible.

To what extent is the kitchen open?

The kitchen is open until 9 pm.

Are there nice car routes, cycling routes and / or walking routes in the vicinity of the hotel?

We have various car, bicycle and walking routes available for our hotel guests.

Are there nice shops in Hengevelde?

Within walking distance of the hotel you will find a beautiful trendy flower shop with accessories. There are also a bakery, butcher, gift / toy store, clothing store for adults and for children. A little further you will find a beautiful gift / home accessories store that is definitely worth a visit. There is also a wine specialty shop and a small supermarket near the hotel.
